We listen to the needs of our community and use that information to conduct research, design programs, and create opportunities for community engagement around the issues of homelessness, housing, and public health.
Assisi House provides solutions for the homeless, those at risk to experience homelessness, and local homeless shelters. We also serve as advisory board members to organizations whose missions address the needs of homelessness, housing, and poverty. We also conduct useable research around housing as a matter of public health.
We believe housing is critical to a healthy community, and that housing quality, access, and location determine the overall well-being of a community. Communities with housing that is affordable, accessible, and equitably located with access to hospitals, education and recreation are communities that thrive.
